2019-11-10 Weekly Happenings
Hi Everyone!
I hope that everyone had a great weekend! We will be down at the range on Monday and Tuesday this week starting at 6pm.
Items this week:
- Homework Assignment - None this week. But just think about what motivates you and think about your "happy place". That is a place in your mind you can think of / recall and it just brings happiness. We'll be discussing this, this week
- This week we will be working on spotting scope setup, usage & intermediate prone for anyone's that's completed beginning Kneeling / Off-Hand.
- We will also be starting our November WIRC targets this week. They need to be shot by next week.
- If you can, please let me know when you plan to show up to the range to shoot your WIRC targets (date/time). This allows me to better coordinate everything, assign firing points and get equipment on the line to cut down setup time.
- If you have a time crunch, if you let me know ahead of time what equipment you use, I'll try to get it out and on the firing line for you.
- If you don't know all of the positions, let me know and we can do a quick 10 minute overview of the position.
- Don't worry. This isn't the first time and this won't be the last time this has happened.
- If you are interested in joining and are unsure, come down to the range and try us out! It's never too late to start!
Upcoming Items:
- Our first travel opportunity will be the Great Lakes Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan Rifle Team in Jackson, MI. Dates haven't been announced yet but it will probably be in the beginning of December.
- Our next set of WIRC targets will be due on November 20th.
- The trip for the WIRC finals will be on February 21st - 24th in North Dakota.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the content of this message please let me know. Thank you for your attention, and have a great week!
GO HUSKIES!
