2019-12-01 Weekly Happenings
Hi Everyone!
I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break and is ready for a good last few weeks of the semester! We will only be at the range on Tuesday this week from 6-10pm.
Due to range officer sickness and schedules; We will not be at the range on Monday. Please don't show up. No one will be there.
On a completely related note, if you have any interest in being a range officer, opening the range and whatnot so that people can shoot, please email Mike. mbtiedt@mtu.edu
Items this week:
- Homework Assignment - None this week.
- This week we will be working on intermediate Standing. For everyone whose completed intermediate prone & spotting scope / sight in training.
- If you are interested in joining and are unsure, come down to the range and try us out! It's never too late to start!
Upcoming Items:
- We will be shooting our December WIRC targets the week of December 9th & 10th.
- These need to be shot before you leave for semester break..... Unless arrangements to shoot them downstate have been made.
- We will be having an organizational membership meeting on Thursday December 12th at 7pm. Location TBA.
- This meeting is important and mandated by our Constitution. This is where we discuss items and vote on things.
- Some type of lite refreshments will be served

- Finals Stress Relief Night will be on Monday, December 16th.
- More info will be sent out a bit later. But basically show up to the range and shoot homework and whatnot.

- Rifle Cleaning Day will be on Tuesday, December 17th.
- We will be cleaning our rifles and performing routine maintenance.
- The more people we have show up, the faster this goes and the easier it is.
- Please try to come and help. No experience is necessary!!
- The trip for the WIRC finals will be on February 21st - 24th in North Dakota.
