Rifle Team Weekly Happenings 2021-03-07

Hi Everyone!

Items this week:

• We will NOT be at the range this week.  Enjoy your spring break.

Upcoming Items:

• Next week we will be shooting Air Rifle (depending on our air situation)
• If we run out of air we will jump straight to Smallbore Rifle - Prone.
• If we have air, we will continue introducing more technical aspects of the position and begin tweeking and fine tuning the basic skills.
• I can't stress enough the importance of Air Rifle.   In the typical NCAA / NRA Collegiate competition, AirRifle is 50% of the total score; And overall the Standing Position is 2/3rds of the total score.

• We will be having a membership meeting on Sunday, March 21st at 1100.
• Our request for an on-campus room was denied so this will be yet another zoom meeting
• An adjenda is being created and will be emailed out 1 week before the meeting.
• This is the meeting where we will be electing next year's organizational officers (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Etc.)
• If you have any desire to be an organizational officer and have questions about what it entails, feel free to ask me or one of this year's officers
