Rifle Team Weekly Happenings 2021-11-07
Hi Everyone!
I hope that everyone had a great weekend and you're taking the time to enjoy the mild weather that mother nature is gifting us right now.
This week we will be at the range on Tuesday from 6-10pm.
Items this week:
- This week we will be shooting our November WIRC Air Rifle targets.
- If it seems like we just shot our October targets... It's because we did. Normally we'd take a week or two to work on position development, but unfortunately due to our extremely limited range time, and no longer being unable to access the range during finals week we need to start shooting our targets this week to fit everything in.
- For a summary of how timing will work, see the "This Week In Rifle 2021-10-17" email.
- If you are interested in joining and are unsure, come down to the range and try us out! It's never too late to start!
- Homework - Read The Rulebook
- It's always good to know the rules for competition. I'd like you to read the NRA Smallbore Rulebook (Link Here). Using the index I want you to find the answer to the following questions, and the rule it's specified in.

- True / False: In Kneeling the maximum angle from the vertical plan the foot being sat on is 45 degrees.

Upcoming Items:
- Due to insufficient range time next week we will be shooting November's WIRC Smallbore Targets next week.
- Good news! We've been permitted to access the range on Mondays from 6-9pm. The bad news is that we're not permitted to use that time until November 29th at the earliest.
- Due to insufficient range time we will be shooting December's WIRC Air Rifle Targets on November 29+30th.
- Due to insufficient range time we will be shooting December's WIRC Smallbore Targets on November 30th + December 6th.

GO HUSKIES!
