Rifle Team Weekly Happenings 2023-01-22

Hi Everyone!

I hope that everyone had a great week.  If you're out building statues, hopefully the warm weather isn't slowing you down too much.

Range Time This Week:

• Monday 6pm - 10pm
• Tuesday 6pm - 10pm

Items this week:

• For anyone that wants to, we will start shooting our MSRL Targets this week.  The first set of targets is due on January 31st.
• For anyone that just joined last week we will work on a training program to bring you up to speed.
• We will be shooting our final postal set of WIRC targets  They are due on January 31st.
• With the decision to travel to Jackson for Intercollegiate sectionals, the deadline for signing up has been extended to the 26th.  If you would like to go, please let me know.  We will be leaving on the morning of February 3rd, shooting on the 4th, and returning on the evening of the 5th.
• The deadline for signing up to go to the WIRC Championships is Feb 1.  We'll be traveling to Jackson, MI to shoot these there.  Leaving on February 24th, shooting on the 25th and 26th, and returning sometime in the early hours of the 27th.
• If you are interested in joining, come down to the range and try us out!  It's never too late to start!

Upcoming Items:

• This semester we will start 4 shooting 4-position competition
• We have WIRC targets that need to be shot by January 31st.
• We've got some upcoming competitions in the next few weeks.  Here's what's coming up:
  • Feb 3rd-5th - Collegiate Sectionals (Jackson, MI)
  • Feb 24th-26th - WIRC Finals (Jackson, MI)
  • Mar 11th+12th - 2023 Michigan Indoor 3-Position & Air State Championships (Jackson, MI)
