Upcoming Competition: Boilermaker Invitational

I hope that all of you are having a fantastic week! I wanted to let everyone know about our first competition of the season!
On the weekend of October 8th we have the opportunity to travel to Purdue to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational. This is a fairly laid back competition and it's a good one for anyone that hasn't been to a competition before. This will most likely be a university excused absence. What that means is:
Student Organization members may request letters to verify their participation in co-curricular activities in the event that they need to miss class to do so. This letter is meant to confirm a student’s participation in an extracurricular activity, however it is not an excuse and it is the responsibility of the student to inform the instructor(s) and gain permission to make up any assignments, course work, and quizzes missed during this time.
The course of fire is 60 shots air rifle, and 60 shots 3-posiiton smallbore. The order of positions will be the NRA Collegiate / old NCAA format.
If you show up to the range at least once per week (more is always preferred) between today and October 7th, you will have the skills required to attend this competition.
The cost to attend will be somewhere in the $20-40 range and will be all inclusive except for food, entertainment and ammunition. We have a subsidy and enough equipment for up to 10 competitors. We can take more than that, but the cost per person, might increase a bit.
The itinerary will probably be something like the below, but because we have a different number of smallbore and air rifles, the final itinerary ultimately depends on how many people will be going. I will have something more official on September 26th once I have a head count and can submit the entry paperwork and find out what time we are shooting at. The below assumes we are on the later time, but we might be on the early morning relay.
